Happy end:)

Rääkisin täna prof. Lujaga. Tema arvas, et ma pean oma "lemmik" õpsiga kohtuma ja arutama seda face-to-face. Soovitas ka igasuguseid lisaargumente, mida ma saaksin tema vastu kasutada. Ma ütlesin, et minu meelest on see mõttetu, sest ta ei lase mul rääkida ja see ei oleks discussion, vaid oleks tema monoloog. Ma ei ole piisavalt ebaviisakas ka, et öelda talle, et ole nüüd vait ja kuula natuke mind ka. Ilmselgelt on Luja rääkinud õpsiga pärast meie vestlust. Sain temalt meili, mille parim osa on:

"Again you technical skills are good. You describe a fine decision tree of the ECJ. I did the same in my PHD but keep in mind that the ECJ is not always very consistent in applying this.

But please next time come to me, discuss this with me. I have never ever let a student fail if he has a different opinion provided that it is motivated. I believe in discussions as a mean to develop thinking and to develop and improve tax law. So let us make an appointment, discuss this an other things you want to discuss. I would be very pleased to host this and look forward to our discussion."
